Make a Difference
People support The College of Arts and Sciences for many reasons--to thank former professors and mentors, to support the institution that gave them their start, to be part of something bigger, and to help today's students and faculty. No matter the reason, at the heart of each gift is the desire to make a difference. The Dean's Fund for Excellence helps not only The College, but also the Janklow Arts Leadership Program. This fund is our most powerful tool to assist students in need, to develop programs of the highest quality, to support outstanding faculty, and to ensure student success.
The Dean's Fund also provides flexible, readily available funding, allowing us to:
• Award student scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships
• Attract and retain faculty, cover start-up costs, and enhance professional development
• Create interdisciplinary teaching and research programs and community engagement initiatives
